Getting Your Home Ready to Show

Showings and open houses are when buyers decide how a home feels. I help you prepare so your home looks its best, and I handle the scheduling so you don’t have to.

What I take care of

• Scheduling showings around your day, as much as possible
• Planning and hosting open houses, when we decide they make sense
• Pointing out the things buyers will want to know about your home
• Passing along buyer feedback so we can adjust if needed

What you can do to help

• Keep the house clean and tidy, inside and out
• Put away personal items like family photos so buyers can picture themselves there
• Clear the walkway and keep the yard neat
• Plan to be out during showings if you can. Buyers are more comfortable looking around on their own.
• Take pets with you or arrange for them to be out of the way
• Stay flexible on showing times when possible. The more buyers who can see your home, the better.

I know showings can be inconvenient, and I’ll do what I can to keep the disruption small.
